Since day one, Simple has stood for being kind to skin. We are totally obsessed with good skincare products that work in harmony with your skin.

We know there are tons of skincare options out there to choose from and it can be a bit overwhelming to understand what makes them all different. We hold ourselves responsible to offer a simpler solution. It is our hope that this makes choosing your skincare products fuss-free and fun!

We also understand there is a growing desire for a cleaner way of life – and that includes what you put on your skin. So, Simple is going clean. For you … and for us.

 Our products won’t upset your skin

From the beginning, our priority was to create a cleansing product with no perfume and no color for sensitive skin. Half a century later, sensitive skin continues to be our guiding principle. We put as much care into deciding what we leave out, as we do for what we put in.

Today, all Simple products are 100% free from:

Cruelty-free certified by PETA

Simple is proud to join the growing list of Unilever brands that are certified cruelty-free by PETA. That means we do not test on animals, anywhere in the world. We believe products that are safe for humans can be developed using non-animal approaches.

All of our products will soon carry PETA’s cruelty-free logo. It will take some time to update all of our packaging, but we believe it is important to assure and inform our customers that Simple does not, and will not, test on animals.

We’re also proud to be Vegan Action Certified for our most beloved products including the Kind to Skin Cleansing Wipes, Micellar Makeup Remover Wipes, Moisturizing Face Wash, Micellar Cleansing Water and Replenishing Rich Moisturizer.

We are committed to a cleaner future

Our commitment to being cleaner is about holding ourselves to a higher standard and discovering new ways to create effective skincare products that do what they say while being kind to your skin and the planet.

Here’s what we are working on:

We’re always working to make milder, kinder to skin, but just as effective formulations as technology evolves. We are also moving to milder preservative systems that are kinder to skin but just as effective against bacteria.

As a part of Unilever’s Sustainable Living Plan, we're constantly looking for smarter, more recyclable packaging options and more sustainably sourced cartons and ingredients.  Our aim is for 100% of our plastic packaging to be fully reusable, recyclable or compostable by 2025.

And that is just the start! The world of skincare is always evolving, and we’re always learning. Our goal is to make sure we keep up-to-date on innovations, our free-from list, and our commitment to kindness.
